Summary
More than one individual predicted a virus that would devastate the human race. It’s just that people didn’t quite predict how. Maybe it was the over exposure. This new virus seemed largely harmless until people started dying on mass and survivors became something… more. Something mutated the virus past what anyone could have expected and it was far too late to hope that isolation would prevent the spread. Not when those infected starting hunting those who weren't… For Will and his sister Zoe, survival was already complicated. They have to keep their own secret hidden and hope the humans will help them until they can find somewhere safe to call home. If there is anywhere safe left in the world.

“I can't help him with what he needs,” Yoongi continues, hand moving down to caress Namjoon’s thigh. Jungkook's eyes follow, hypnotized. “Do you think you could help us?”
Jungkook swallows, under a trance. “What does he need?”
“Namjoonie,” Yoongi’s other hand slides up, gripping Namjoon under the chin to draw his head up from where it was lolling back. Namjoon’s eyes lock with Jungkook’s and there it is, that heavy, pinned feeling again, breath caught in his throat. Fingers flexing, Yoongi finishes, “needs a nice, warm set of holes to fuck.”

Summary
When Jungkook, a beta, is tasked with taking care of Taehyung during his preheat, he's determined to do it well. He desperately wants to show his boyfriends, his pack, that he can do a good job- that he can be good. He feeds Taehyung by hand, keeps him hydrated, obediently fetches pain medications and lets himself be used as a human teddy bear. Anything to make the preheat easier.
But then...suddenly, Jungkook can't stop thinking about how the nest Taehyung built is all wrong. The omega is asleep, but he wouldn't mind if Jungkook fixed it, right? Just moved some of these blankets into the right spot, where it's so much cozier? Maybe he'd even be happy, proud that Jungkook knows just how to fix the nest for them both to share. Sure he's ignoring the burning heat in his stomach, the dizziness floating behind his eyes, but that's not important. The nest is important. It has to be safe, has to be perfect.
When Taehyung wakes up to a completely different nest, a sick packmate, and an unfamiliar scent, he realizes Jungkook /might/ not be a beta anymore.
