Bakugo, on the other hand, acted like nothing had changed. Loud, sharp as always. After class, small interactions between students slowly built up the anticipation for the upcoming school festival. Ideas were thrown around, plans were made, and Class 1-A began preparing together. In the middle of all this, moments between Bakugo and Midoriya became harder to ignore. Brief conversations, silent glances, and forced teamwork started to appear more often, even when neither of them wanted to admit it meant anything. And while the rest of the class focused on fun, chaos, and festival preparations, something quieter began to grow between the 2 rivals something unspoken, confusing, and impossible to fully avoid.

Dad’s new bodyguard, Atasha mused to herself. She registered Charlie’s appearance: the impeccably tailored suit, the fierce yet thoughtful posture, the ability to remain unfazed as her father’s world spiraled. “And who is this?” she asked coldly, her tone dismissive.
“This is Charlie,” the governor introduced. “Felipe’s daughter. She is going to be your temporary bodyguard habang wala si Felipe.”
Atasha narrowed her eyes, the sharpness of her expression contrasting with the delicate beauty of her features. “I don’t need someone babysitting me,” she snapped, crossing her arms defiantly.
