Summary
When Peter and May are forced to moved to Gotham City for May’s new job—a housekeeping position for a local rich archeologist family—Peter wasn’t super thrilled; to put it simply.
After a horrible, terrible first day at school, a broken down bus, and a forgotten phone leaves Peter braving a hour and a half walk across the number one crime capitol of (probably) the entire world—he makes it home one wrong turn down an alley and unfortunate encounter later.
And, with the new found discovery of his very own superpowers (and sense of responsibility for this god-forsaken city), Peter begins moonlighting as the up and rising vigilante Spider-Man.
Soon enough, Peter is balancing Spider-Man, school, Gotham’s other local heroes, and two new friends; a blonde scientist who keeps getting a little too close to Spider-Man’s identity for comfort, and a boy from May’s work, who seems to be hiding quite a few secrets of his own.
His day never seems to end and his strange entourage only continues to grow—but, at least it keeps life interesting?

– and Azula’s crackling bolt of lightning steadied, became still and straight, and was a beam of blue light thrusting from the horizon to the sky. The cold voltaic shock through his nerves was the sting of cold air damp with spray from the sea, the pressure of electrical charge the weight of armour on his shoulders, the harsh blue-white glow of lightning the grey-white-blue of sea and ice and sky.
…His scalp was cold.
Zuko doesn't know why he's suddenly back here again, here on his ship amongst the icebergs, with the Avatar's light stabbing into the sky. He's not even sure this is real. But if it is, he's going to do things better this time.
Of course, things go off the rails almost immediately.
