Summary
After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

Summary
“She is an exceptional warrior. She's fine,” the child said. Who knows how much he really believed it or how much it was a lie so as not to think the worst.
So. Small child injured and alone in Gotham, with no one to rely on except Tim himself, and a mother who was missing and probably dead.
Now, a person with common sense would call the police. They weren't great, but at least Commissioner Gordon was good – not to mention he was Batgirl's father! – and he would definitely protect the child from evil ninjas.
However, Tim didn't have any common sense.

Summary
The two of them stand side by side at the end of an otherwise unoccupied hallway. There’s a large window overlooking the Gotham bay, a massive potted plant, and, tucked into the tiny space between the wall and the plant, is a child.
Bruce looks to Cass for answers and instead of providing any she again says, “Little brother.”
