Giyuu collapsed beside Tanjiro's unconscious body, clutching the remnants of his broken Nichirin Blade. In front of them, the torso that had fought with blind fury even without its head was beginning to dissolve into a fine, scarlet dust that smelled of withered lotus and rusted iron. They had won. The Simultaneous Decapitation, Tanjiro's Selfless State, his own sacrifice… it had all worked. Akaza was finally dead.

Tomioka and Akaza meet under questionable circumstances one night and end up with a lot more than they had bargained for.

“What’s going on, Peter?” Gwen said into the communicator as Miles and Hobie tried to blast open the door. “We’re trapped in some sort of metal box, nothing we’ve tried has been able to open the door.”
“Margo says it’s looking like the only way to open the door is from the outside,” Peter’s voice crackled through the device. “I’m on my way to where you guys are, but it looks like you’re just going to have to wait until then.”
“How long are we talkin’?” Miles asked, taking his hands off the door.
“Looks like—” Peter stopped, audibly wincing. “Looks like around three hours.”
“Three hours?” Miles repeated incredulously.
“Sorry, kid,” Peter said. “We’re doing our best, but you three will have to hang tight until we can get there.”
“Better try and get comfy then,” Hobie said, already lounging on a stack of crates that was in one corner of the room.
Gwen and Miles groaned in unison.

Miles face hurt with how hard he was smiling. Pav was screaming along to the lyrics while Gaya laughed at him and Gwen was copying Mattea’s drum beat in the air. Miles tried to cheer the loudest, which ended up with him in a competition with Gayatri to see whose voice gave out first. It was thrilling, and it was exciting, and it was everything.
Until it wasn’t.
Miles’ excited shout gave out midway as his throat closed up and he buckled over. Amidst the stimulation from the concert, his spider sense kicking into gear was excruciating. It felt like his heart was in his throat, like his brain was on fire, like claws were sinking into his neck. The line of Hobie’s guitar screeched to a halt and ended in a reverberating hum that interrupted the song as he and every other Spider person in the venue went into defense mode.
OR; The Spiders have attracted a bit of a stalker. A stalker who really, really wants their heads.
