“Sleeping on the job, Lu Guang?”
Cheng Xiaoshi sounded amused rather than annoyed, but Lu Guang didn’t respond. He stirred at Cheng Xiaoshi’s voice, aware that he should probably get up, but he couldn’t seem to find it in him.
“Lu Guang?” Cheng Xiaoshi sounded concerned now. He gently brushed Lu Guang’s hair aside to put his hand on his forehead.
“You’re burning up,” Cheng Xiaoshi said.
“No I’m not,” Lu Guang’s voice came out raspy. “It’s just hot in here.”
After getting back from the hospital, Lu Guang just can't get himself to stop working. There's way too much to do after being away. But there's only so far he can push himself before taking a break isn't exactly optional...

Summary
As Vash and Wolfwood travel together, it's too easy to forget who they are and what they’re facing. But all it takes is one gunfight or encounter with someone after Vash’s bounty for reality to come crashing down on them. Vash can never truly forget who he is, and Wolfwood can’t allow himself to forget the things he’s done (and what he’s there to do).
It's dangerous enough for them to be friends, they can't even allow themselves to think about anything more than that.

As his vision cleared he saw Vash, a soft blue light shone from the patterns on his skin. Wolfwood had caught glimpses of it the last few days, but this was the first time he could get a real look. The swirls covered Vash’s arm, up his neck and face and eyes, and Wolfwood knew he was looking at something precious, something ancient and beautiful that almost no one alive had seen.
“Ah- ah,” Vash said in a strangled voice. “Sorry.”
Wolfwood understands why Vash doesn't ever want to talk about the things that make it obvious he's not human. But Wolfwood doesn't think he has anything to be ashamed of.

Rocky, please. I’m trying to spare you right now.
Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

All tattoos, piercings, and a grin sharp enough to make Lu Guang forget himself.

He should be the opposite of Lu Guang’s type. But instead, he can't seem to get him out of his head, and suddenly the future he thought was fixed starts to shift under his feet.

“I can’t lose you!” Cheng Xiaoshi gasped, and Lu Guang felt it in his own lungs, ripping the air from them. Ripping the conviction from his voice. “I couldn’t lose you.”Or, Cheng Xiaoshi jumps into a photo Lu Guang took and feels everything Lu Guang is feeling, including all of the trauma from losing his best friend and redoing the timeline to save him.
