Summary
Link feels most like himself in the wild, with the wind in his hair, grass stains on his knees and a mysterious wolf by his side. He wakes up in the shrine of resurrection with nothing but destiny to his name, and the quest he has laid out before him will be a long and arduous one. How will he reconcile what he has to be with who he really is? With the weight of the world on his shoulders, and not nearly enough sleep in his system, that may be more difficult than he realizes.

Summary
Steve couldn’t help but be haunted by the last time he did this, his vision flickering between the real world and flashes of blue. Eddie’s eyes were open then as they were now, they were dead and dark, just like now. But in the Upside-Down, back when Eddie’s blood was still red, he was desperate. Dustin was crying, and Nancy was yelling at them that the gates were starting to close. Last time, Steve had to give up, had to take his hands off Eddie’s chest that he’d already cracked. Eddie was already gone, and the rest of them had to go, too.
Now, he was determined. Eddie’s eyes were open and instead of gazing unseeingly up at the moonless, starless sky, they were locked with his. Steve was caught in the beam of his gaze like he was hypnotized, and it was Eddie’s command that compelled his arms to keep pumping, to keep his fingers and wrists locked, and his body wasn’t his to control. It was easy. To breathe, to push rhythmically against Eddie’s broken sternum, to ignore the strain in his shoulders. He was going to be the reason Eddie’s heart would beat again. And it felt good.
Or, Eddie comes back as a zombie. A story about souls and bodies and love and eating flesh :)

Summary
It was 2023 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Steve Harrington didn't know what he was doing with his life. Home from college with a barely passing GPA, recently dumped, and drunkenly careening down a dark country road to the tune of his own misery, Steve was aware that he might be depressed. Therapy would've been the sane solution. But before he could turn around and make that choice, a glowing red hole cracked open in the middle of the road, and he was sent flying through time and space.
It was also 1985 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Eddie Munson had a five step plan on how to fix his life. First, graduate high school. Second, provide a kickass D&D campaign for the nosy little freshman that joined Hellfire. And finally, write more music and go on tour with his band. Okay, three step plan. Absolutely nothing about his plan-in-progress included stumbling across the hottest man he'd ever seen stranded on the side of the road. Or the glowing red portal to hell parked next to him.

This fic absolutely ruled my life for the time I spent reading it nonstop in its entirety between the hours of 1:30 am and 10 am. One of the best fics I’ve read maybe ever and that’s not the insomnia talking. Incredibly fun cool interesting and creative au, made excellent use of every character— I’ve never really ENJOYED Petras before but now his nonsensical “fk u I hope starry fuks ur mom n ur dad” lives rent free in my brain and it just about broke me with laughter at around 4 am. Excellent fic, hilarious and ridiculous in the right moments and extremely grounded and earnest in the best moments. Genuinely incredible
