Summary
Henry Bowers kidnaps Eddie Kaspbrak and keeps him tied up in his basement. While confined in the cold, dark space under the house, Eddie gradually begins to sympathize with Henry when he overhears Henry's father yelling at and physically attacking him. Eddie desperately hopes Henry will find a way to sympathize with him too, before he ends up dead under the violent older boy's house.
