The Council of the Higher Angels, intrigued by the dispute between Charlie, Emily, and Sera in court, has ordered an investigation into the Hazbin Hotel. Emily has been promoted to Celestial Ambassador and will have to travel to Hell to gather as much information and testimony as possible about the Hotel’s activities. While Emily is eager to reunite with Charlie and finally meet her friends, she is seriously concerned about her companion: will the Head Exorcist be up to the task? Or, as usual, will he make a huge mess?
Meanwhile, someone is plotting behind Heaven’s back: a mysterious traitor is orchestrating an arms trade toward Hell and will do everything possible to advance their own personal goals.“This decree, unanimously signed by the members of the Angelic Council, orders the immediate suspension of the Extermination until further notice. Summary
The death of Crepus Ragnvindr changes the lives of his two sons forever. Kaeya, crushed by the weight of his own lies, confides in his brother, hoping to receive his forgiveness. Diluc, however, does not seem inclined to accept the sins of others. Kaeya, in a single night, loses everything he has.
He had come too late, too late to save his father. He had watched helplessly as he died, with Diluc desperately trying to put his parent out of his misery. This should not have been how that day should have gone: it should have been cheerful, full of joy and lightheartedness. Instead, his brother had received the worst birthday gift: fate had stolen his smile forever, leaving him clutching his father's inert body.

Steve guardò l’orologio da taschino, picchiando nervosamente il piede destro sul tappetino dell’auto. Il taxi si era imbottigliato in un ingorgo affatto previsto ed il tempo, incurante dei suoi problemi, scorreva imperterrito. Anzi, a ben guardare, pareva quasi che le lancette ruotassero più velocemente. Il quadrante segnava le sedici e trenta in punto; gli rimanevano soltanto quindici minuti.
«Mi scusi…» disse, sporgendosi verso il sedile del guidatore, dove un baffuto autista si stava accendendo una sigaretta «Non può fare un’altra strada?»
«No, figliolo. Ci sono dei lavori sulla ventiquattresima ed impegneremmo molto più tempo per raggiungere la stazione centrale. Mi dispiace, ma temo dovrai rassegnarti. Avevi un treno da prendere?»
