Tim’s limp hand is pulled out of Danny’s grip, and he watches as the gurney and its passel of nurses and EMTs disappear behind the swinging doors. Danny stands there for a moment with his hand outstretched, then lets it fall to his side in the sudden hush of the hallway.
There’s nothing more he can do.

Summary
He stepped back off the path to see what new evil was probably about to find him. Instead, out of the crowd emerged a beautiful and familiar face.
He remembered Yumi well. She was beautiful, he put on his most charming mask, and they ended up spending a few heat-filled nights together. Yumi wanted him to stay longer, but he had to leave her behind. She begged him to return, and he promised he would, but life had always had a way of getting away from him, and his promise soon faded to the back of his mind.
Regardless, Yumi clearly remembered him, and hopefully she would be willing to help him again.

Summary
Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.

Summary
Clark has accepted what it means to be Lex's prisoner - the pain of the Green, the experiments, the hands on it. The long years buried in its containment cell, let out only to act as Lex's weapon, as Lex's tool. It had fought back at first, but years have ground it down and away to almost nothing.
Then Lex hands it a baby. And Clark realizes that while it may have hurt humans, and lied about what it is, and it may deserve to be locked away - Kon deserves to be free.
