Nothing grew in hell– there were no patches of crops, no trees, no flowers. Nothing except for the cactuses in the west side of the pentagram, and the occasional imported foods from other rings. It had been years since Alastor came across any substance that wasn’t chemically manufactured in hell's labs. Being adamantly against anything he could develop a dependence on, these substances never held any sort of draw to him.
Standing in front of Lucifer’s door now, he faltered slightly.
It would be incredibly annoying to be refused– but when was he going to get this chance again?
Besides, he could really use an easy fix right about now.
