She would join her other fallen comrades, what she didn’t expect was to wake up in the same hell she knew as a child. This time she wasn’t in Japan at all…
Whitebeard was content with his family, he had his sons and daughters; and before some had even met him had already had families of their own. To his surprise his sons surprise him with a granddaughter.

Summary
It's raining. Because every story just has to begin in the rain.
It's not quite the welcome home you're hoping for, but you suppose it's a bit of a given since you've been putting it off for four years straight. It's just too bad you won't get to enjoy all that awkward tension when all your plans are thrown off the deep end.
At least falling down a hole and into a trash heap makes for a good excuse! And hey, you even get to make some friends—maybe even something more.

At some point, my knees started trembling. I paused about a third of the way towards the center, Edward Elric coming into focus. The wind whipped around us, billowing his red cloak as he removed and handed it to a tall man in a gray suit of armor.
The reason I took the state alchemist exam at 15. The inspiration I’ve looked up to since the first article detailing his licensure landed on our doorstep. A childhood hero, if you were.
I silently cursed whoever decided to pair us for the assessment fight before rolling my shoulders, charting a plan of how I wanted to attack. He could move fast with his clap alchemy, but my cards should be able to match him in speed.
Hughes all but roared into the mike. “Ready… Start!”

Summary
Mana was two years old when she had witnessed her first death, a row of inmates gunned down as an exposure test. When she turned three, she would learn how to hold those same guns, and by four, she would learn to use them for the same purposes. The facility taught her and her friends that it was their duty, that they would be the next to fight the crimes of the world.
What they didn't count on was Mana remembering how those who failed the test had been eliminated along with the inmates, and that she was more than willing to bring them all down. Now all she needed was to get help from the outside world, hopefully convincing them to spare her friends, and ending the fight before it could begin.
OR Mana, a walking perception filter a la "Where's Waldo?" decides to seek justice, one way or another. And if she meets certain heroes, villains, and everyone in between that are willing to take her in, it was only a small price to pay.
OR Jason Todd becomes a dad without meaning to, but will not back down.

You don't have to know anything about The Last Ronin comics to interact with this series; I literally just borrowed the turtle tots from that series when they were babies and put them in ROTTMNT. ^_^
