Jake’s anger was palpable enough to burn a hole through steel, his jaw clenched so hard that his teeth creaked audibly. “Who would choose to leave a child on Pandora? Who would have a child in an obvious warzone? Who the fuck would endanger a kid like that?” he asks, all of them rhetorical because no one would be able to answer them anyway.
“And how the hell did Selfridge think it was a good idea to tell someone just as he was getting on an aircraft to leave?!” Jake asks again, getting more irate and angry, nearly tearing his hair out at this point. “That’s like saying ‘Oh peace out guys, but don’t forget there’s a literal child in there who could starve if left alone’. Like, the fuck?!”
He flops back against his chair, his breaths heaving out in barely controlled gusts that flutter the pages strewn about him. “Actually, Norm, don’t slap him. Punch the dumbass for me into next week. Maybe that’ll get it through his thick skull,” he mutters, utterly serious in his tone and his expression.
Or!All humans leave Pandora after the final battle leaving Spider behind. Oh, and he’s blessed by Eywa. That’s it. That’s the fic.

MAIN STORY ENDED!!
Updating only for bonus and extras!At six years old, Spider overhears a word he was never meant to understand.
*Demon blood.*
He takes it literally.
If something bad is inside him… then maybe it can be let out.
So he cuts. Small hands. Simple logic. A child trying to fix what he thinks is wrong with him.
As he grows older, he understands there isn’t truly a demon in his veins. There is no creature beneath his skin. But the feeling of being wrong doesn’t disappear so easily. The cutting doesn’t either. It becomes something else: A way to quiet the noise, to punish himself, to feel control when everything else reminds him he doesn’t belong.
Because he knows he’s different.
He is human. humans are destruction. are war. are grief. He carries the face and the blood of everything the Na’vi have lost.
And no matter how much he tries to be good, to be useful, to bleed the bad out of himself, he cannot change what he represents.
This series follows Spider from six years old onward — from magical thinking and mommy issues, to identity, to self loathing, addiction and facing who he really is.
