“I could come take him anytime I wanted.” Jungkook says.
“I know.” Jimin agrees, refusing to poke an angry bear that truly holds enough power to do anything he wants.
“It would be a fucking walk in the park. You know that, right? No matter where you go or try to hide, I can find you. A snap of my fingers and I’m at your front door. I could waltz right in and take my son and there’s nothing you could do about it.” Jungkook says with a slight growl, angry and displeased.
“Yes.”
“But I don’t do any of that.” Jungkook eventually adds, something soft and vulnerable to the tone of his voice. “You know why?”
“Why?” Jimin asks.
“Because I'm weak.” Jungkook speaks so quietly that Jimin almost misses it, hardly a whisper.
Jimin abandons his mate and the only life he’s ever known—an innocent baby in his belly, a dagger in his heart, and nowhere to go—reducing himself to a life on the run, spending every moment terrified of the demons that lurk in the shadows and wait for the chance to devour him.

Summary
“You’ll always be safe with me.” Jeongguk went ahead and declared to the Omega, something whose implications probably he didn’t understand himself because forever was a really long time and their ruse was to end in a month and a half.
Jeon Jeongguk was the regular young Alpha. Except he was rich, widely popular as the hottest unmated Alpha among the notorious tabloids and had a soon-to-be CEO reputation to his name. With life being an impeccable blueprint, Jeongguk just wanted to focus on his work.
