Love.
Love, as far as Hymns and Stories said, was supposed to be buoyant and frantic. A happy anxiety that would turn colours brighter, warmth warmer, and life livelier. Generally, it was described as something purely positive, with circumstances and choices being the things that sometimes twisted it into something more like War.
Which mortals and Gods alike immediately saw as something else – something separate. The moment that Ares dipped his blood-crusted nails into a situation, Love was no longer involved. It had been the spark, the positive intention, a misguided hope, the start - but Love itself didn’t have a place in War. Because it, as an emotion, was purely positive, and so it couldn’t be the source of pain and strife.Because if Love caused pain, then it wasn’t really Love anymore, was it?

Summary
Kidnapping a princess of the Fairy Kingdom to force their cooperation would have been a great idea if Bog hadn’t been hit with the very same Love Potion he’d been trying to find on his way out. It worked on Him, of course, there’s nothing wrong with Princess Dawn, she’s, she's wonderful.
Dawn had never been kidnapped before. Well, someone had tried, when she was 8, but Marianne had bit him and refused to spit the fingers out afterwards. They hadn’t even made it out of view of the castle. Her point was, that even in her limited experience, she was pretty sure this wasn’t how kidnappings were supposed to work. She curled her fists into the skirt of her party dress and stretched her neck to peek through the bars of her cell for the fifth time in as many minutes. The Bog King hadn’t moved since the last time she checked, still unconscious on the floor of the cell adjacent to her. The blood sheeted down the side of his head had dried, at least.

Goblins are for the first time invited to a fairy dance, celebrating King Dagda's birthday.
Bog gives a speech.
And wishing the King death by their offspring's hand is seen as highly respectful by goblin standard.Mainly the two kings talking about their culture of how one becomes king.
Only mild gore at the end. Very mild.

An AU where, instead of falling victim to Madara, Rock ninja kidnapped Obito after Kakashi and Rin fled believing that he had died from his injuries. To fool the enemy, Obito came up with the 'Tobi' personality and spent eleven years imprisoned until finally making his escape.
Now that he's back in Konoha, he has a lot to catch up on.
