When Dennis agreed to cover shifts for Dr. Mohan on the night shift, he didn't think he would ever end up here. Kidnapped from the ambulance bay, his head pounding, and having to save the life of a man with limited medical supplies. That was supposed to be it. Somehow, he finds himself snatched up off a sidewalk, in the stables, in front of his home. There were no sacred spaces when you proved your worth.
In the middle of it all, Dennis is confused by the way Dr. Robby and Dr. Abbot are circling him. The way they'd reach out and brush their fingers against his skin. The way they made sure he ate, got rest, and stayed safe. It made him ache with something he hadn't felt in a long time.

"Mel--uh, just let Dana know I'm having a bit of a disagreement with a patient, alright? It's fine, all is well." Dennis says, and it feels like he's trying to convince himself more than he is Mel. His voice is a bit high pitched, and it sounds panicked. He knows it does. Mel doesn't say anything, quick on her feet as she scrambles out of the room, the door left open only a crack. Mr. Brunner grabs on tighter, the scalpel seemingly getting just a bit closer.
He knows she saw the scalpel, how could she not? The steel shimmers beneath the fluorescent ER lights, and the smallest bit of blood on the blade must've made it even more visible. Dennis Whitaker was fucked, probably.

“Yeah I realized that, I am a fuckin' doctor. Student doctor. Whatever.” he replies, turning to squint at the man sitting next to him. “Look, can you just get Dr. Robby? He’ll tell you I'm fine, I gotta get back to work, I got… patients and shit.”
The man looks at someone behind him, some expression he can’t quite figure out. He starts to say something else, and—oh shit he’s gonna throw up fuck—he tries to lean away and not vomit all over anyone else. He doesn't quite make it.
“Shit,” yeah, he definitely ruined that guy’s shoes. Whoops. “Sorry.”

Summary
Fucking Keith was a lot like fighting with him, Lance found, and since they’d been having sex, their arguments were basically reduced to zero. They were on the same page more now than ever before. It made leading the team so much easier because when they did have a disagreement, they weren’t arguing about it in front of everyone else. Instead, they’d compromise, and then later, they’d fuck until they were finished being mad at each other.
Personally, Lance thought it was a great solution.

Summary

Geralt was tired of being immortal and watching the world change around him while he was trying to find his place in it. He was the last witcher to grace this earth, and as honouring as it was, it didn't fill up the hollowness inside him.
He still spent his days hunting for monsters while he worked for an organisation that kept every magical being and supernatural creature as a secret from the public eye while he tried hard to avoid his memories about a certain teasing smile and cornflower-blue eyes.
Hundreds of years after he last saw his bard, Geralt got a new case where the only eyewitness was a young brunet, with bright eyes, clever mouth, and he called himself Jaskier.
Geralt didn't know if he land in his personal hell, or it was just a dream come true, but he knew one thing. He was not ready to face Jaskier again and deal with his emotions at the same time.
