“Even if that meant using magic to heal him?”, Morgana inquired, her eyes trained on her brother.
Something in the face of the blonde one fell, she could practically see the battle deep inside of him, torn between outdated believes of his father and the possibility to save Merlin.-------------
Merlin has been hit by a magic blast and is very sick, almost on his deathbed. But Morgana won't give up on him, willing to do anything to save her friend but the question is how far would Arthur go to save his servant?

‘Why do you ask?’ He countered stiffly as Merlin, who she now thought was officially the Prince’s servant of advisor or some such thing, returned with a bunch of firewood.
‘I think I know how I got here and I’d like to confirm my theory,’ she said gloomily.
‘I am Sophie, and my husband is Howl. Howl Jenkins Pendragon. I know for a fact that there is no one else by the name of Pendragon where I come from. That’s probably because he made that name up. He said it’s a lovely name, which it is, I guess, though I prefer more plain ones, but anyway.’
She was getting distracted.
‘The point is. I don’t know how it happened, but I think I’m in the future. I hope he didn’t leave me to really get married to the King’s daughter, but one can’t ever be sure with Howl, so tell me the name of your bloody grandfather, because I have a wizard to kill if I hear the name Howl among the list of you ancestors.’Sophie travels forward in time to when her great great grandson is on the throne.

Short scenes and a summary for one of my Harry Potter and Merlin crossover ideas.
Morgana and Arthur have been reincarnated as wizards in the modern era. Merlin finds them then finds himself smaller than he's been since the 5th Century. Seems like Morgana still holds a bit of a grudge... but at least she didn't try to murder him? Though, getting stuck as an 8 year old due to Morgana's magical outburt may be worse.
Now, the three of them must blend in with the wizards and witches of this era, by going to Hogwarts. If only Dumbledore didn't think they were upcoming Dark Lords.

Arthur is the captain of the rugby team in Camelot University and Merlin is a wallflower who keeps to himself, or at least tries to. After one interaction they both decide they hate one another. Both are perfectly content to keep to their separate ways of life but unfortunately for them, Arthur can't keep his grades high enough to continue playing. He needs a solution quick and the only tutor available is Merlin. Just his luck. Merlin agrees and they both vow to never speak to each other again once the semester ends, but fate or... destiny... might have other plans.
