Summary
Years ago, when the handling of his estranged father's will exposed his identity as having been built on forged documents, Janus had watched the life he had worked so hard to build for himself fall disastrously apart. Expelled from university, burdened with debt, and barred from most employment, Janus was left aimless in the aftermath, with only the support of his closest friends helping to keep him afloat.
Now, stuck in a rut and with little left to lose, Janus has decided to take a gamble. Following clues from one of his father's old stories, Janus hoped to perhaps learn about the other side of his family—whoever they turned out to be.
That search has led him to the town of Tam's Landing, situated on the cold, remote island of Inch Murrough. Now it should only be a matter of navigating the social complexities of a small town and the colorful characters that live there...

In case you were wondering, Roman has been feeling wrong lately, damage to Thomas’ ego following a failed audition skewing Roman’s delicate skin, triumphant self-deprecation hungry for a feast. His arteries were snagged and plucked apart under it, oozing his crimson red uniform onto his white clothing (could he truly be Thomas’ ego if he doesn’t suffer?)
Roman realises that he's able to be loved, though probably not in the best way.
