Still on his back, Laios lifted up his arm, stretching it over his torso and, as delicately as he could, placed his wrist on the dip of Idzutsumi’s side.“Merp!”she chirped- and her whole body twitched, the fur of her side prickling up.
But in a blink, it was over. Rather than jumping up and scuttle away, Idzutsumi stood still, her fur slowly deflating back into a smooth, uniform coat.
Laios finally gets a chance to find out how many nipples Izutsumi has. And how her tail connects to her spine.

And on that sunny day Dr. Ryland Grace found refuge in a coffee shop to escape the heat, all but one week on the dot past his self-ejection from the world of academia via carbon-based insults, jobless and with all doors pointedly closed in his face, the appearance of the very first Kaiju was shaking the world at large out of all previously known logic and scientific rationale.
