    Keith stared into the neon purple concoction and wondered if it would be his death sentence.
    “Shiro,” he said out of the corner of his mouth. “I can’t drink this.”
    “Why?” Shiro asked through his smile.
    Keith glanced over to where Lance was asking if any of the Xaligas had heard of bendy straws. The aliens, as per usual, were enchanted by him.
    “Because,” Keith’s teeth were locked shut to keep from chattering. “It might cause an intergalactic incident.”
    Shiro’s eyes widened ever so slightly. “That’s a good reason.”

     

    When the gang is served a truth serum by an untrusting group of aliens, Keith is forced to reveal a rather inconvenient secret. This is bothersome, considering half of the galaxy is in love with Lance.
