Bruce had been uncharacteristically silent until that comment, pulling back and preparing to give the safe sex speech he’d forced Wally and Dick through (much to their embarrassment and discomfort, because Batman giving you The Talk was terrifying.)
“No! Stop B don’t say anything!” Jason gasped out, pulling out of any choking embrace to quickly usher Kori and Roy up the stairs. “Quick before he pulls out a 100 slide PowerPoint.” Jason hissed, Roy laughing his ass off as they were both led out of the cave, followed by a human octopus, a terrifying bat and a squabble of children in various degrees of distress, discomfort and pure elation.
“I fucking hate this family, godamnit this is why I don’t bring people home!” Jason yelled, attempting to flee.
“We love you too Jason!” Dick yelled back, his words weren’t a joke and Jason knew that much, could hear the sincerity and it warmed his heart.

They’re all over, some large and others tiny, some an aged white and others a shiny red. He gapes at them, confused—what had happened? Is the sea really that dangerous? He knows Jimmy’s clumsy, does it justify this?
“What happened to you?” he blurts out, and Jimmy turns to him, face a picture of confusion, before his eyes follow Scott’s gaze. Comprehension dawns and his face closes off.

He’d seen Hollander’s mother flipping through papers rapidly when they first got here, seeming calm and in control and more than a little frightening in a way that made Ilya mildly glad he wasn’t one of the people responsible for a clipboard. If anyone can tell him if the long list of “Prohibited Items” he’d been sent in his email a few days ago is just standard practice for big shoots, it would be Yuna Hollander.

Kate’s heart only beat faster at Yelena’s heartfelt comment, even if she knew that she was most likely just teasing her. She only met Yelena a few weeks prior, but since then, she’d gotten a pretty good sense of the blonde’s personality; flirty, witty, and only slightly unsettling at times.
It was a wild ride, for sure, but she hadn’t ever looked forward to leaving and coming home as much as she did now that Yelena was around.
