Himself, alongside Nanami Chiaki, must ensure that Kyoko remains safe whilst they look into The Flame Cult, after Kyoko suspects that they are responsible for the destruction of the Kuzuryu Clan, as well as multiple kidnappings. What they find instead leads to nothing but pure and utter destruction.
And at the same time, Utsugi Kotoko is being hunted. But by what? By who? As the night draws near, soon, she will have to rise, and step out of the shadows to inherit a destiny worse than death itself. But hey! At least it'll be fun! Right?
