Summary:
Charles getting to Edwin at the last second before he ultimately fades away.

- Inspired by dulcet tones of broken bones by gremlininthemachine
So... this is a blatant screenshot re-draw/remix of the scene towards the end in 1988's Akira movie when Kaneda sees the last bit of energy left of Tetsuo before it fades away. Think of it as fanart of an optional epilogue of the absolutely amazing and haunting (pun not intended) fic that it's based off of. Credit to Super Hero Screencaps for having the exact screenshot that I was thinking of, and able to get an outline from.
The title of this fic is based off the final song on the Akira movie's soundtrack titled "Requiem".
