The crowd is roaring, shaking the stands, just as restless as he is. His master told him to put up more of a show today, and the blood dripping down his brow has to be enough or he might not manage to see the next sunrise.

The man fighting against him is on the ground now, and the crowd is getting louder. A chant picks up deep within the stands, it's getting hard to breathe, to think, everything is so loud and his head is pounding and he can feel smudges of blood on his hands and-

A spike in the stands, the man gurgles against the ground, a second, then two, three, the announcer declares him the victor of the match.

Or: Technoblade is a mistreated slave, Philza gets him out and they try to learn to function as a family, but it's hard when one of them is resisting (Hint: Its not Philza).

Couple things before we start! I'm new to this, just a fair warning

Updates will be every other Wednesday nights but if something comes up the day will be changed. If I update sooner than that then that will be the weekly update, but I'll always make note of any changes.

I'm really just getting used to formatting because this is my first fic but if anyone sees it I would appreciate if you would stick around!

I'll try to remember to mark each chapter with the date too just to give an idea on how far apart each one is, but if for some reason I abandon it then I will have said so I wont just leave unannounced.

Sometimes I write until unreasonable hours so please be kind with any mistakes.

Tags and character list will be updated as characters and themes are added, so if anyone or anything random is there then you can expect them to be in the upcoming chapters.

A lot of this info will be repeated in the next few chapter notes but just so its said outright and there's no confusion
