Summary
All his life, nobody truly believed in Midoriya Izuku's dream of being a Hero. Not his mother, his childhood friend, his classmates or teachers...not even the Number One Hero believes in him. What is a Quirkless boy to do?
Show the world it's wrong, that's what. Finally, after years of no one believing him, there was one man who did. After All Might left Izuku on a roof with the answer of 'no', one man who was not a Hero finally told the boy, "I believe you can become a Hero." Izuku wants to prove the man right.
Short version: One person, who is NOT a Hero, finally tells him yes, and Izuku decides to become a Hero through the Support Course, making friends along the way.

That death would be a welcome mercy for someone like him. And no matter how badly he wanted it to change, now he knows it never would. Because, right now, Izuku Midoriya was choking, suffocating, dying.

The day of the sludge villain incident two things happen to Izuku Midoriya. One, his dreams are crushed for the last time, forcing him to find a new goal for his life. Two, he force-manifests a quirk, but he thinks it's a shitty one, like some god playing a cruel joke in what were supposed to be his final moments.

Summary
The human body, Izuku thinks, is wonderfully complex. Everything working together in perfect synchronicity, from the beating of the heart, a twitch of a finger, or peristalsis of the gut. Every level of organization brought a new layer of complexity that endlessly fascinated him.
Life is just like the human body. Sometimes it doesn’t work the way we want it too. It hurts and aches and breaks and everyone does their best to hold themselves together through it all.
One small change in an orderly system can have devastating effects.
