Summary
" The Truth is that when Alhaitham saw Kaveh for the first time in years, he only felt one thing.
A nostalgic, familiar sense of love crippling up inside him.
He remembered how much he loved him.
Which was strange, because Alhaitham never loved Kaveh before.
But the worst part was that when he saw the man faltering on his couch with a hand holding his throbbing head, looking absolutely horrendous, Alhaitham was taken over by an immense, strong, and unstoppable urge to keep him.
"Kaveh has just lost everything, returning to Sumeru City with no mora to his name, and Alhaitham had to do something.
But to his surprise, the blond man he saw in the cafe looked nothing like the friend he once knew.
The story of how Kaveh and Alhaitham changed each other for the better and got past their fears and traumas, based on everything canon we know about them.

Summary
Alhaitham finds Kaveh passed out in a tavern, buried in debt and drowning in alcohol. He takes him home, covers him with a blanket, makes breakfast, and offers him a place to stay. The only condition: splitting the household chores.
Immersed in silences, lingering memories, and small gestures, two men who spent years avoiding each other slowly learn to exist in the same space again — without realizing that, day after day, the affection never really left.
This is an aromantic love story. It's an extremely slow build, focused on affection, consent, and wounds that don't simply heal. How can you know you love someone when that love is so diluted it becomes the air you breathe?

A migraine nestles in the left side of Alhaitham’s head. Unpleasant. He pushes himself away from his desk on his rolling chair and stares out the window to clear his mind.
He doesn’t expect to see someone staring back.
Alhaitham doesn’t startle. Just—freezes. Creep, he thinks.
Alhaitham is annoyed and overwhelmed from the construction and its loud noises on the roof above his office. However, he finds one light in the situation: a man who routinely appears outside his window, clad in a highlighter-colored vest and hard hat.
