Summary
Don’t be a Stranger-
An alternate timeline in which Steve finds Eleven before Hopper does, their relationship as found siblings, as well as Steve’s troubles from 1983 to 1986. Having to deal with his awful parents, the scars he got from supporting himself and Eleven in Chicago, he and Nancy’s deteriorating relationship and an earth shattering (not-)dog bite leaves him with little room to breathe.

he's a SON. he's KNOWN. that "it's not you it happened to you" mindset is something I've had to learn to embrace and ohhh I'm crying, a million outta ten.
the sparkle in Eddie's eye when he looks at his true form, my mind is racing and I'm so scared to see where you're going to put that in the future(your recurring themes and overall understanding of literary devices like that... author, you've dropped your crown) -

The wolf stays where he’s at and for a moment Eddie feels extremely stupid for trying to communicate with an animal but then the wolf stands up- and woah he’s way bigger up close.
Eddie watches as the wolf steps closer and giggles at the wet cold feeling of his snout sniffing at his hand. He brings it up to pet through the wolf’s unbelievably soft fur and marvels at the glisten of the golden-like color even in the moonlight. “You do too, huh?” Eddie giggles, scratching behind the wolf’s ear as he sniffs at Eddie’s face. “I think I’m gonna’ call you Ozzy.”
Ozzy huffs and Eddie laughs.
“Yeah. Ozzy suits you perfectly.”

Summary
Sirius studied Remus’ face. He was curious what he thought of all of this, the only one of them who didn’t have a mark– theoretically– and the only one with a muggle parent. Muggles didn’t get marks, he knew. If Remus’ parents were soulmates, then they wouldn’t know it. He wondered if there was a way to tell, though. If they could just feel it, somehow, even without the help of some magical fate.
Because it seemed like something you would just know, just from being near someone, from being close enough to them, from being in the same space. Like their souls would attract like magnets or like water droplets traveling down a window, waiting to merge until the last moment when they realized they were on the same path, and then they’d become one.
Was that fate, Sirius wondered?
He realized Remus was staring back at him, his eyes puzzled and curious and warm.
Sirius looked away first and didn’t look back, pushing down something heavy and impossible in his chest.
