It's not the first time Cloud's woken up in a bar, but it's definitely the weirdest. Turns out the cosmic equivalent of the green room has debatable karaoke, an unspeakable bartender, a suspicious clientele, and (mercifully) an open bar.

It’s his only chance to fix things, and he’ll be damned if he screws it up somehow. Even if his memory’s a little spotty, since that’s par for the course, anyways.
Still, it’s unfortunate he’s never been good at remembering the most important things.

Summary
Years after the Geostigma Crisis, Cloud Strife is still attempting to run away from his past and the nightmares that haunt him. After a particularly hard period, he ends up coming across a monster, leftover gift by Shinra and their scientists, and right before he manages to slay it, it pulls him back during a time he should be nothing but a cadet.
Sephiroth, after feeling weak for the first time during his adult life and coming to terms with it, simply tries to deliver a letter written by an anxious mother to her missing son.

He can ignore the more dramatic urges easily enough, but when he starts longing for Sephiroth too, he thinks he might lose it.
Luckily for him (or not), Sephiroth longs for him, too.

Hojo’s tanks made sure there was no scar, but there’s a phantom ache that never goes away and Sephiroth is ghoul enough to know exactly where it is.

Taking a deep breath, the boy crept inside and prayed he would encounter no monsters of any sort. As his eyes adjusted to the dark, Cloud remembered the light he saw coming from the lower levels and began to search for a way deeper into the manor. Fumbling about the halls, he eventually came across a room with an open door at its end. A faint light came from the doorway, and Cloud realized it must have been where Sephiroth had hidden away. It led him down a winding stone staircase that only added to the manor’s foreboding atmosphere. As he slowly descended the stairs, Cloud felt his blood run cold. He heard laughter. Each step brought him closer to it, and he knew it could only be Sephiroth."

The branches tucked underneath his arm, and the axe he'd been gripping in his other hand fell into the snow with a soft clatter, and the wolf lunges at him.
He'd expected to feel pain. He was ready to embrace death.
Instead, the wolf hits the ground before it can reach him, its head severed from its body. Blood seeped into the snow, and Cloud could only stare at the animal in silent shock. Then, his gaze flickered up, catching the glint of a blade. One that he could recognize anywhere because of his stupid obsession when he was a kid.
"…Masamune?" He mumbles.
or, cloud's dream of joining solider gets thrown away when his mother falls ill. for some reason, a dead man has come back to life to help him grieve.

Summary
Cloud has dedicated his life to hunting vampires after his friend’s disappearance. He doesn’t know for a fact that Zack was taken by them, but it’s the only lead he has.
When Cloud finds evidence of this from a vampire lair, he knows he’s close. What he doesn’t know is that he was lured into a trap—and the vampires aren’t going to let him go.
Just as Cloud thinks he’s going to die, he’s saved by another, older vampire. In order to preserve Cloud’s spirit, Sephiroth bites him and binds them together.
Cloud hates vampires, always has. Now, welcomed into a coven of them, he has only two choices: let himself wither away, or embrace eternity.
