Drinking human blood can form a dependency that Miranda would loathe, but her hands are tied: she must take her second assistant as a thrall. She’d been continuously firing her assistants to get around this rule, but then Andrea came along. All while trying to keep the whole werewolf thing under wraps, relying on her now ex-boyfriend as a 1-(800)-WEREWOLF-TIPS hotline, and being unknowingly pursued by her boss, who is secretly a vampire. Talk about awkward.
