It’s happening more and more often these days.

Qifrey has ruined beautiful things and prevented new ones from being born, has rent himself into a shape that breaks through the world, has stolen each new moment of his life or paid for it in blood and memories. He has crafted a life of suffering and placed everything he cares about atop its precarious sill.

Summary
This is set right after the chapter 40 of the manga, but contains spoilers of it in full lenght. If you don't remember which chapter it is, that's the first time we see Qifrey wip Olruggio's memories after he confronts him about the ending of the second test and the spell on his glasses.
Qifrey has always wondered if the erasing memory spell has any exceptions. If there's some kind of muscular memory or so other that persists. Signals had always been there. Little does he know that Olly didn't get only one memory spell that that at the Tower of Tomes, but also another that has been keeping to himself.

It took a moment, but the lingering tension melted from Alastor’s frame and he settled more comfortably in his chair, much to the delight of Lucifer’s dragon.
A Beta shouldn’t act like this. Shouldn’t be influenced by Alpha Voice. However, the alternative was equally unlikely. An unmated Omega of childbearing years working as a university professor, especially somewhere as prestigious as Pentagram University.

Summary
Alastor has been missing from the hotel for over a week. When Lucifer goes to find him, he sees that Vox is keeping Alastor with him, and Alastor has been completely hypnotized. Lucifer is planning to force Vox to give Alastor back, but Vox changes his mind. Lucifer knows he shouldn't do what he's about to do, but he can't help himself.
