Summary
They don't talk about it. Neither of them. They really should. Having sex your Sensei/student that you live with and also have a crush on is definitely something that should get talked about but they don't, both parties all too happy to act like everything is fine and nothing is different or out of place. They're ignoring the obvious, letting the conversations about what they’re doing fall to the wayside. They have all the best intentions, both of them, but the days are busy and the situation is complicated with much room for error and, somehow, in the blink of an eye, it's always right back to being bed time.
[Or: A canon divergent AU where Aizawa takes Shinsou in just before the USJ incident and his attempt to help Shinsou with the resulting nightmares goes a bit awry.]

The monster under Will's bed calls himself Hannibal. He has lived there since Will was old enough to have a bed. He is very smart, and Will likes him very much. He protects Will's dreams, wakes him when he has nightmares. He embraces Will with shadows that black out the morning light when dawn comes, and sings soft songs that Will doesn't know.
Will doesn't know what he looks like, because he refuses to reveal himself, even when Will peeks his head over the edge of his bed and tries to catch a glimpse.

After much sass from his caretaker, Hannibal spends a pretty penny to take Will for the night. Will is terrified and expectant of torture and pain.

Will Graham operates under extreme amounts of fear.... except when someone else is making all of the decisions for him. Will seeks out a consensual slavery contract, which is legal and widely accepted. He visits the highest rated facility in the area, and Hannibal Lecter accepts his application to be trained as a slave, and then sold to the highest bidder.
Hannibal is really good at what he does. He can hurt and fuck and terrify even the best of slaves, and never thinks of them a day after they leave his training. Then Will Graham had to come along and remind Hannibal that he's disgustingly human and does actually have a heart in that beautiful, broad chest of his.
