Summary
“Why the Hell are you still praying?” Robby bites as the barn door closes behind them. Everyone else is back in the house, getting as comfortable as they possibly can for their short break. “What kind of God do you think would do this, and still want to save you?”
Before Robby could become a victim of rationality, he yanked Dennis into a fiercely passionate kiss, wasting no time in licking into the younger man’s mouth. He could taste the sweat that had collected on Dennis’s upper lip, and the tangerine the boy had eaten when they’d arrived at the house. Fruit and flesh, a rare treat for them both.
OR
Caught in the midst of a virus outbreak, Dennis joins a group of survivors. Him and Robby don't always mesh, and it all comes to a head when the group come across a farm house and decide to settle. They'll work it out...in their own way.

“I haven’t even tasted you,” Michael whispered, words hot against Dennis’ lips. It sounded like it hurt to speak.
Dennis cocked his head to the side. “And you hate that, don’t you?”
A tiny noise bubbled up from deep inside Robby. It sounded feral, all desire and barely contained yearning. Dennis felt the sound in his soul because it was a perfect twin to the twisted want that consumed him. He sucked in the air between the two of them like he could drink the sound.

Summary
He always looks nervous. Less so than he used to, definitely, but there is nothing Whitaker’s growing professional confidence can do for his face. He just looks like someone who is about to faint dead away with anxiety at all times, eyes huge and hair waving timidly over his pale forehead. When he smiles, he looks almost… he looks different, but he’s not smiling now. He’s staring at Robby as though he thinks one of them is about to explode.

“There were stems on the chest X-Ray.” She handed over her tablet for him to examine, and his fingers visibly tightened around the edges of the screen. “No petals yet, but there was an article in The Lancet last month about delayed blooming in patients with clinical depression. Sats are down to 92 and dropping.”
“Jesus fucking Christ.” Robby wiped his hands over his face and clasped them around the back of his neck. “Do you know how long it’s been since I saw a case of Hanahaki come through here?”
