You were very much out of your comfort zone. Impulsively reserving a spot for a month-long backpacking trek was not something that fit into the normalcy of your typical 9-5 lifestyle, but why did it feel so right? Nothing else seemed to scream, "quarter life crisis" quite like this. Excited was an understatement, you would never have been able to anticipate the friendships you were about to be thrown into.
