So it turns out, Yuuji’s not Yuuji.
Or rather, he’s supposed to be Itadori Yuuji—not Ryoumen Yuuji, the second son of the Ryoumen Dukedom—overseen by his elder brother, Ryoumen Sukuna. And yet. And yet, the servants here call him Young Master. They look at him and see Ryoumen Yuuji. And when Yuuji looks in the mirror, he sees a figure a little shorter than he was, cheeks rounder than he remembered, yet with the same pink hair and brown eyes. Ryoumen Yuuji, strangely, looks identical to Itadori Yuuji, if slightly younger.
Itadori Yuuji is . . . likely dead. Had died in a dank alleyway, surrounded by unconscious thugs, watched by the terrified boy he had tried to save. He hadn’t been able to fulfill his Gramps’ last wish of dying surrounded by smiling faces after all.
And now Yuuji is here, in another world. In another body so close to his own it’s freaky. It’s like his manga, except it’s way more disconcerting when it happens to you.

OR: Itadori Yuuji gets isekaied into an otome game. Ryoumen Sukuna is his brother. Gojo Satoru becomes his fiance. And death is Ryoumen Yuuji’s fate.

Sharpened fangs akin to the blades of swords, an elongated tongue that could coil as snake, beastial legs with muscular claws, and a serpent’s tail—All caught underneath a robe of finery made of the same ink, casting a shadow of what details there could have been if the painter had more than a handful of colors and a hand less prone to periodically splattering the canvas without rhyme or reason. Or maybe there was. But when Yuji attempted to think about it, he had reached the final canvas.
An outlier.
Larger than the rest, completely absent of the creature, yet its presence was felt more than ever in the monochrome spiral that took its place. In its center was nothing. A void from which no light could escape. The lack of eyes did not stop Yuji from feeling as though his very soul was being judged, sending a jolt up his spine. His fingers released the other paintings, leaving the stack to fall back onto themselves as he crawled away.

“Nope!” Satoru backpedaled to the wheel, working to course-correct the angle of the ship before making a harsh turn in the opposite direction. Gunfire rang out into the space where they used to be, leaving Satoru smirking as his pursuers were just as predictable as ever. “If I was, I would have lost my job by now. Taking a company ship and getting into a firefight with the air marshals are definitely grounds for termination.”
“You stole this ship!?”
“I prefer the term ‘commandeer.’”
“That’s the same thing!” His angel—judgmental angel—slammed his open palm on the controls, reeling back in horror when he realized just how many buttons he’d hit. Buttons that had only turned on a few lights somewhere in the cabin and probably nothing else considered the state of their electrical grid. “You stole it!”
❤ The job was supposed to be easy. Steal a ship, fly it to the outskirts of Tokyo to be dropped off and get paid. No one ever said about picking up a stowaway in the midst of escaping from his blunder with the authorities, but who turn down a such an adorable partner in crime? Satoru surely wouldn't.
