And maybe Colt Seavers will regret chasing his doppelganger down when a 400-pound rock spider comes to his doppelganger's rescue.
(A story where Grace and Rocky have accidentally shucked themselves into Colt Seaver's world during the movie and get unwillingly tangled within its plot.)

Summary
This is a Rocky-and-Grace-fake-date-to-make-Adrian-jealous story no one was asking for that I promptly delivered.
Rocky and Grace are finally on Erid, but Rocky's marriage is, well, on the rocks, and that's putting it nicely.

"Jealousy can make someone realize their feelings — and act on them. You could pretend to have a new love interest, see how that goes."
I know it's not particularly healthy. Or wise. But I feel like I have to do something. It's my best friend hurting, and his marriage failing. I won't let it stand.
"So, you think we should pretend to like each other romantically? Or pretend we’re together, even?" Rocky asks.
"Uhh, us?!" My glasses slump down my face and I go in to pull them back up. "I mean, you could ask any friend, not just me.”
“I was gone for seventy years. I don't exactly have that many. It's also a big ask. And you're kinda my guy for big asks, you know? Although you already saved my life, so—"
"No, of course! I'll help you."

Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! Grace will get to go back to Earth with Rocky (for a bit and then go back to Erid)! Grace will get to confront and get closure with Stratt! Fanart included!)

Summary
After saving Grace and nearly dying in an alien atmosphere, Rocky lays an egg before going dormant.
Turns out being isolated for years and then nearly dying will force biological imperatives onto injured Eridians, and this one leaves Ryland Grace utterly baffled.
Aren't Eridians supposed to lay eggs in clutches? Only fused eggs are supposed to be viable, but when Grace accidentally touches the egg with his bare skin while trying to save it, that's apparently all the genetic fusion required for life to begin.
Ryland Grace skips a few steps when it comes to making a baby, and I test the limits of Eridian biology.
