Sometimes he wished he had someone but he doesn't understand the concept of being around someone due to his social anxiety and the overthinking that his past trauma brought to him.
He strangely finds the comfort he didn't know he needed in the one guy everyone tells him to avoid.

Summary
Episodic anthology under the pretense that Herobrine is a capricious changeling; a fairy, who grows particularly attached to a suicidal middle-aged Steve. Light inspiration from The Watchers by A.M. Shine, as well as the general atmospheric horror of both classic and modern Minecraft…and, other indie horror media.
Includes some meta humor and classic references, though at its core it is still very much a darkfic with themes common to the genre. Both of them are lonesome touch-starved otters written by a lesbian elder fujoshi, which I’m sure shows.
