Summary
"Who am I, Daniel? What am I? I— I don't know. I don't know who I am." His words pick up a panicked edge. The lives he's lived — Arun, Amadeo, Armand — they all feel separate. Different from who he is standing in a parking garage having a panic attack in the middle of a cold November afternoon. "Am I… am I my history? Am I always to be the… the frightened boy being pressed into bed, after bed, after bed? Who am I, Daniel?"
Daniel looks about as lost as he feels. "I don't know," he says and the answer almost sends Armand over the literal edge but Daniel continues. "But we can talk about it, Armand. We've got… eternity to figure that out."

Raglan James turns to him, looking bemused. "Daniel?"
Bastard knew it would get a rise out of him. Armand had told him not to start shit. I want you home in one piece, beloved, he'd said before entrusting him with Lestat's head.
It doesn't stop his fangs from sliding down in threat. The idea of Armand, once again, being disparaged on stage, in front of fifty thousand people, makes his skin crawl.
"Keep my Maker's name out of your fucking mouth," he says, his rage outweighing the instinct to sass.

Armand flinches. "Well, I was mostly following you after we broke up," he admits quietly. "I intervened in your life as necessary. Keeping you safe, keeping you as healthy as I could."
"I spent five stints in rehab, you're a shit guardian angel," Daniel snaps.
"I know."

Daniel doesn’t move back. He just stands there, running his thumb gently over Armand’s skin before moving his hand to the back of Armand’s neck, fingers carding through the hair that hangs down from his bun.
“I remember enough.”

When Daniel Molloy got diagnosed with Parkinson’s, he didn’t take it well. An overdose under his daughters’ watch, and here he is, stuck in the nursing home Haven Crest, condemned to rot here for his remaining days.
It’s been a month since his internment (or ‘hospitalization’, as his daughters would rather put it), and Daniel can feel himself turning crazy out of boredom. Proving to be a difficult patient, he’s been assigned a private care worker. A certain Rashid…
