Hydra’s Winter Soldier Project is still in its infancy when the Red Army takes Berlin. In the chaos, the NKVD get their hands on the Soldier. High hopes for a Soviet superhero are slightly stalled by the fact that brainwashing was not Arnim Zola’s field. And nearly everything about this project is classified – even for the scientists working on it.
It’s really hard to get anything done when – both literally and figuratively - no one is speaking the same language.

This started out as a short ficlet about how Spencer's life would be with an eating disorder, but quickly spiraled into an 'au' wherein he really just gets fucked over by life. There are multiple storylines going on throughout, also involving other bau peeps!

Bucky recognized he was fucked in the head. A broken skull and electricity often resulted in brain damage. He relearned how to walk and speak. He kept his name written on a piece of paper to carry around. He holed himself up in his room for days and yelled at anyone who crossed ways with him. Steve was convinced it was all part of the onerous path of recovery.
Until Bucky started going psychotic.

Finally Nick Fury is made aware of the situation and he turns to everyone's favorite billionaire: Tony Stark. And that's how Tony is suckered into allowing a damaged Norse God into his tower as his prisoner/servant.
Basically I like writing angsty pieces and delving into the psychological states of people in pain. And bringing egos low.

And just as everything else, it's going to be more than a little bit messy.
