One issue: Derek won’t let him, no matter how many times he tries.

Okay.” He plants an elbow on the armrest of his chair, propping his chin in his hand. “Well, I guess it must’ve been my imagination when you bit my head off for accidentally bringing you peanut butter M&Ms instead of peanut M&Ms, or when you slapped that stool softener out of my hand and told me to ‘get out of your rectum’s business,’ which would’ve been funny if you hadn’t also called me something so wildly offensive I honestly can’t bring myself to repeat it. What about when you—?”
“Alright! I get it—just… Stop.” Colt squeezes his eyes shut and ducks his head. A rare display of shame. “Please.”
“Oh, the ‘p’ word. That’s refreshing."

OR: Colt plummets 12 storeys down to a broken back, wounded pride, and a shattered career.
