“Considering I’m neither an alpha nor an omega and can smell your scent, I’d say otherwise,” Dazai retorts, sniffing loudly.
Chuuya narrows his eyes. Dazai is technically right. Chuuya’s smokey, distressed scent filled his room days ago, but he hadn’t realized it was that strong. Unpresented people and betas can’t smell scents like alphas and omegas do, but periodically, if a scent is strong enough, they can.
“Thought scents were useless?” Chuuya hisses.
Dazai shrugs. “I said instincts were useless. Scents are plain annoying.”
“Whatever. Get out,” Chuuya snaps, covering himself with a blanket and giving his back to his partner.
“I can’t just leave,” Dazai bemoans. “I have a stupid slug to take care of!”
