Summary
After their desperate escape from Ventress's prison on Rattatak, Obi-Wan and Alpha crash land on an uninhabited planet. With no way to escape or call for help, Obi-Wan starts to realize that he's most likely going to die there. A dark and angsty story, slightly veering into the horror genre at one point. AU.
This story is somewhat inspired by the comic issues Star Wars Republic 55: The Rainmakers and Star Wars Republic 62: No Man's Land, but no knowledge of them is needed.

It was supposed to be a bonding mission between grandpadawan and grandmaster. But instead, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka crash on an unknown moon, battling injury and blindness, while Anakin and Feemor launge a rescue mission. But... can Ahsoka keep herself and her grandmaster alive until they arrive?
Or: Ahsoka and Obi-Wan bond through a crash landing, while Anakin and Feemor take a trip to the Outer Rim to find them. Oh also, Anakin gets his love for Qui-Gon Jinn scared out of him by none other than Jinn's first Padawan. And for some reason, this whole mess ends up saving the galaxy.

Too concerned to even roll her eyes this time, Ahsoka gripped the edges of her seat, surrendering to watch as their shuttle continued on its fiery intercept course for the icy planet.

Summary
Despite popular belief, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi did not repress his feelings. Not for a long time at least. He would push them aside if the situation demanded so, but he would always sort them out later during his meditation.
So it was quite a surprise that he Fell while reading a book.
It must have been a poorly written book.
Or in other words, a story about Obi-Wan Falling, how he told the Jedi and the Republic to kark themselves, and went off to find happiness.
