He should feel beautiful. Everything that he had on was beautiful, so he should feel beautiful. But he didn’t. Instead, he noticed every little imperfection that revealed who everyone thought he was. The way his nose was a little too upturned to be masculine, how high and defined his cheekbones were, how his eyes were a little too big, and how the makeup made them look even bigger.
He should feel beautiful, but he just felt wrong.
