Summary
Lars Lindstrom's life has been a series of improvisions. Since Bianca has passed, he has a few more examples of how to finally live. Margo and Lars carpool together now, and the endless memories of empty houses and cold, lonely winters are now separated by new discoveries of love, understanding, and exploration.
(Or, a Lars fic that indulgently tries to capture a bit of how Lars had felt as a child that brought him to the deep loneliness he feels before Bianca, the new possibilities after her, and the start of the exploration to Lars' relationship with gender.)

Viktor’s relationship with Singed was neither loving nor in proper accord for what a child needs. On another groggy, slow day of gathering Shimmer for Singed, Viktor stumbles upon an accident that changes the entire trajectory of his life. Silco, on a mineral scouting mission, finds a young boy curled up among the corpse of a grotesque monster and the Frankenstein who left this boy alone, hungry, and lost. And thus, Viktor finds a new home within the Undercity, this time with a father and more than a few people to navigate his newfound path. (Or, Singed dies and Viktor gets adopted by Silco, ushering in a new series of events with Vander, Felicia, Connel, and the Zaun family!)

Oh? The Petrova Taskforce? A short while before he’d fucked off to somewhere, Ryland had explained to Colt something about the Petrova Line, so it sounded distantly familiar. And incredibly not important to anything Colt would ever be involved in.
He was confused.
“Uh. Hi. You already know my name, so…”
She raised an eyebrow for half a second, then lowered it again.
“It was given to me by your brother, Dr. Ryland Grace.”
