Summary
“Five years of marriage and you know what we haven’t tried yet, Samu?” Keiji asks as he snuggles into Osamu’s neck, his volume dropping.
“What’s that?”
“Sex on the beach.”

Summary
“Keiji, fuck, you’re so good,” he praises, moving into incoherent babbling. “Let me fuck ya, god, I want you so bad.”
The man below him slides off with a soft pop and rests Osamu’s saliva-slick cock against his cheek. “What number will I be if I let you?” Keiji asks, staring up at Osamu. His pupils are so dark that Osamu can barely see the characteristic deep blue that’s so Keiji.
When Keiji continues to slide Osamu’s dick against his cheek and brush the tip with his lips, it hits Osamu that this man is a menace.
“What’s the number matter when you’re the only one with me right now?” he replies, caressing Keiji’s cheek with his thumb.

Summary
Keiji sighs as he makes his way through the genkan and to their couch. “We’re almost eighty. We’re all dying.”
Osamu grunts in frustration. In contrast to Osamu, Miya Keiji considers himself a rational man. But Osamu knows better — they’re both incredibly stubborn. He knows this for sure after spending fifty years of his life with this man.
“We might all be dyin’ but ya literally have six months to live,” Osamu argues. Keiji always did know how to give him the silent treatment when he was upset, but he takes it in stride, walking over to their living room.
“Do you want me gone that badly that you’d help me get there?” Keiji manages to whisper bitterly through his tears. He doesn’t look up.

Summary
“Bokuto-san?” He asks, chopsticks still full of udon.
“Hmm?” Bokuto doesn’t look up from where he’s devouring his okonomiyaki.
“Is there a reason why you won’t let me touch your hair?”
“What do you mean?” Bokuto asks. To the untrained ear, it sounds nonchalant, but Akaashi knows better – there’s a hint of nervousness in Bokuto’s voice.
The dark-haired man holds eye contact, willing himself to be bold. “You don’t let me touch your hair. When we cuddle you hold my hand when I get too close and you insist on fixing your hair yourself,” he clarifies, trying to be direct without seeming too accusatory. “And when we fuck, it’s more like you touching me.”

Summary
Akaashi Keiji has one rule for hookups: No kissing.
Whether it’s a stranger or a friend, there’s no room to get attached. It’s better that way. The rule hasn’t failed Akaashi before.
Miya Osamu seems to be determined to break that rule.

Summary
Through him, Keiji realizes once they’re close, the dark looming shapes of the cliffs pressing closer as the road narrows between them. Miya hadn’t been staring at him at the train station; he was staring through him. Like he’d been trying to imagine the landscape back into place without Keiji interrupting it. Like Keiji wasn’t there at all.
On coming and going, and going.

this is the rare work where if's clear the author has a mastery of language and prose. and it's so in character, too! the story is gorgeous and contains words both romantic and realistic and musings that are poetic without being overly flowery or adding unnecessary fluff. we are given a story written from the soul, and i thoroughly enjoyed this - so much so that i wrote my thoughts down in an actual note and full-on reco instead of bookmarking and leaving. i needed to remember this!
this was in my open tabs forever; i was waiting to be in the correct headspace to read this. and it was entirely worth the wait. i was filled with hope not just for my dear osaaka but for myself by the end

Summary
Like an old relic in a museum, Kita should be untouchable: effortlessly elegant, withholding so much wonder and beauty that he’s bound to make anyone stop and stare.
Aran couldn’t help but feel that every touch of his fingers would taint Kita, would rub scratches onto the surface, and bruise the edges. He was lucky enough to be that person, though, to be the one who broke Kita’s walls down one by one, only to build him up again, through every caress, every wandering finger that dared to mark the smooth skin. Yeah, Aran was pretty lucky.
~~~
or, alternatively, Kita and Aran having morning sex, and Aran being super mushy about it.
Summary
It always goes the same way. Has for an embarrassing amount of time. Akaashi shows up, they share no more than a few sentences back and forth, Osamu pretends not to watch his every move, and then- at some point- Akaashi leaves with Atsumu in some pathetic ploy to what? Make Osamu jealous? Finally get him to say something? Make him stop them? Anything, really, would be nice. And yet every time, Osamu feigns ignorance and doesn’t even give them a passing glance when they go.
Honestly, he doesn't know why he keeps this up.
