Summary
“I’m not being controlling,” Hoseok argues.
“You kind of are,” Namjoon says quietly. “You’ve been snappish and cold lately Seokie, and forcing Jungkook to stay the night when he should be able to enjoy it with his friends is too much”. Hoseok can’t help the betrayal he feels. The other two youngest are quiet, concern clear on their faces. Jungkook looks annoyed too.
None of them meet his eyes. The living room smells foul with all of the negative emotions tainting it. The main ones, anger and disappointment, coat his tongue.
He studies his pack warily, really looks at them. Exhaustion is etched into every line, the same exhaustion he feels in himself. This is a fight he does not want to win.
Being reunited with his pack after discharging from the military should be filled with joy. Lately it isn’t. Not when Hoseok is tired and lonely even while surrounded by people. Not when his pack’s scent no longer lingers on his skin.

Summary
"You're a lot different from the humans I usually get here. Most of them are too scared of me to even speak, let alone get feisty and crack jokes.”
Seokjin frowns. "Do you act differently around them than you have with me? Because all I've seen so far is a rich brat with entitlement issues and a lack of respect for personal space."
"See?" the vampire exclaims, pointing at him. "That's what I'm talking about! You should be crying on your knees begging for my mercy, not throwing insults. I could kill you in like, two seconds flat you know."
"Well if I'm going to die anyway, I might as well get a few shots in."
or: after stumbling into an illegal blood auction in order to pay his brother's medical bills, seokjin makes a deal with a bratty vampire, gets sucked into his supernatural world, and tries not to fall for the infuriatingly attractive bloodsucker he’s now bound to. (he fails.)

Summary
“I have room,” Jungkook says, and it comes out so quietly, he doesn’t think anyone heard him.
“Kookie,” Namjoon breathes. “It’s nice of you, but you don’t even know Tae.”
“No, but I know you,” he says as he sits up a little straighter. “And you’re important to me —all of you —and he’s important to you, so,” he swallows. “I want to help.”
His hyungs look around at each other as a blush blooms on his cheeks.
—
Or a story where Jeon Jungkook accidentally becomes an accessory to what his hyungs call a consensual kidnapping where the target is Kim Namjoon’s own younger brother. Jungkook had only heard of Kim Taehyung in the stories his hyungs told about him. The omega’s absent presence suddenly becomes more present than absent when Namjoon learns that their parents have arranged to mate him to a family friend. With a kidnapping scheme coming together over boxes of takeout, Jungkook offers up the not-quite-spare room in his apartment as a temporary housing solution until his hyungs can figure out a more permanent one. But the longer the omega stays, the longer Jungkook wants him to stay as he slowly realizes that his apartment isn’t the only place with room for two.
