Summary
MB's life is pretty stable. It works for campus security, makes friends with the university faculty, and tries to be a functional adult. What it might do in its private life is its own business.
Then ART decides to make that its business, too. Neither of them expect how much they'll matter to each other or how intertwined their lives will become.

Summary
“But I want you to know this stuff,” SecUnit said, frustrated. It dragged a hand through its hair, a new gesture it was experimenting with, and then frowned when its fingers caught on a tangle. “I’m just—you know what I’m like. I’m never going to say it.”
I don’t mind if you never do, I said.
“Well, I do,” it said, irritation and a hint of shame seeping into the feed. “I want you to hear it. I… I want to tell you. I just—can’t.”

Summary
I didn’t know why this was still so hard for me. SecUnit had said it wanted me to be genuine, had proven it wouldn’t abandon me in the aftermath of a scene. I had even successfully participated in its games as the drone. I had given it my submission, and it had been good, so why was I still so fucking terrified? Why did I fear its kindness as much as—if not more than—its brutality?

Summary
On impulse, Murderbot publishes some of its secret original fiction on a PSUMNT forum. This goes much better than risk assessment expected, and it makes some new friends, discovers things about itself, and forms a heated rivalry with an obnoxious user in the anonymous response thread who, despite vehement protests, comes to be known as the SecUnit Fucker.

Summary
Over the years, ART and Murderbot's relationship evolves as they navigate kink, trauma, and most terrifyingly of all: sexual desire.
Murderbot experiences violent and sexual intrusive thoughts, and struggles to learn to differentiate this from its legitimate kinky desires as a sadist. ART struggles with trust, honesty, and the fear that it will be rejected if Murderbot sees the depths of both its devotion and its internal dysfunction. They're friends, and they love each other, and they're always going to make it work, no matter how hard it sometimes gets.

Summary
I sent ART the edited file along with a snapshot of my recent haptic sensor logs, which mostly looked like [deleted] [deleted] [deleted].
ART took a moment to process that. Your difficulty with physical touch extends beyond merely touching or being touched by humans, it surmised.
I guess, yeah. I bristled at calling it a ‘difficulty’: it wasn't hard to touch things, I just didn't like doing it. But I had a system for dealing with that, so whatever, it wasn't an issue.

Or, ART wants to make Murderbot comfortable. (And yes, it would like to feel that for itself, too.)

Summary
I come back from the dead.
Something happened. Something happened just now— I came back from the dead, yes, I know, I'm not talking about this, something before that— beyond, even, there was a recognition, a realization, somehow much more important than the hostiles I am currently grinding to dust on my deck, more important, even, than SecUnit's humans with their raised hands and SecUnit with its raised voice and myself, raised from my grave. What was it?
"What's going on?" I ask futilely, my voice distorting through the speakers. SecUnit's humans jump, startled. "What the fuck is going on—"

You were so beautiful.
And I was the only one who could see it. I was the only one you would allow to see it.
You really should have known better than to let me touch you like this.
