Instead, the lighting was warmer, Eddie was standing by the fridge, the air smelled of food, there was music playing, and Eddie was standing by the fridge.
'Hey, Eddie. Didn’t see you back there.'
Eddie waves his hand slightly, 'Hey, Maddie.'
Maddie whips back around to face Buck, questioning eyes and only somewhat fake smile on her face, and repeats, 'So I am interrupting something.'"

Jennifer Walters has to attend this lawyer conference for her job. While there, she runs into her one night stand from a year ago: Matt Murdock. She asks him out for drinks and then his best friend Foggy Nelson gets invited which was not part of her plans. However, Foggy can't keep cockblocking her the entire night, right?. Unless those two are dating or something.
At the end of the night, though, she ends up making two cool ass friends. Totally worth the cockblocking.

But Spock’s shoulders were tense, his eyebrow was furrowed, and his eyes were almost downcast."

Harvey’s smiling, soft in a way that Mike recognizes, but after a few weeks without it, it's easier to note the intimacy, the surprising fondness from a man so guarded. It disarms him, and without thinking Mike reaches up to brush his fingers along Harvey's cheekbone then down the sinew of his neck.
A hand shoots up and circles Mike's wrist, jerking him away.
“Shit, sorry,” Mike breathes. “I -” For a breath, the overwhelming longing for things to return to normal - where Harvey took care of him, where they had each other’s backs - almost shoves an embarrassing sound from his gut, but Mike’s learned some control over the past few years so he wrenches his wrist free and passes the baby over, gently but without touching Harvey at all.
“Gotta go. Thanks for the -”
His throat starts to close so he stops talking, stumbles up, and throws his coat on before darting out the door.
Harvey doesn't try to stop him.
