Summary
Based on this: (my post, but I altered it a bit)
Arthur is granted a wish.After years of obliviousness, Arthur has grown an awareness for how blind he is, so he wishes to be able to see people for who they really are.
That's how he begins to see people dressed differently than before. He sees servants dressed like people of the court, he sees closeted people finally representing as themselves, he sees his wife with an eternal crown over her head.
And then he sees a man walking into his rooms. His face held high, his eyes golden. His face and hands are scarred all over and Arthur knows it's emotional scars. But the man glows, his clothes that worthy of a king, no. A god.
Only when the man opens his mouth and pulls away the curtains, does it dawn on Arthur whose in front of him.
"Rise and shine :D"

Sitting down in his large, plush desk chair, Arthur reached over with his free hand and punched in the extension for his assistant before tapping the speaker button. The phone rang only twice before it was answered.
“Send in the CFO, I’d like to speak with him.” Arthur paused, “tell him it’s urgent.”

“Alright… Can you show me?” he asked, motioning towards Mordred.
Mordred eyed him warily for a moment. He looked like he was ready to bolt. Luckily, Merlin had plenty experience with runners. In the end, he let out a sigh and carefully lifted up his shirt. Merlin quickly tugged the curtains around the patient bed closed even tighter to assure no one could peak in at him.
When he turned back around, he couldn’t stop the wince.
“Oh, Mordred,” he sighed, “who did this to you?”
Or
Mordred has been making himself present at Merlin's emergency centre more and more frequently. Merlin's beginning to suspect there's something more going on Mordred's not telling him.

Arthur yelped as he fell forward, into the clearing.
The dark-haired nymph shot up, wide eyed as his gaze snapped to the Prince. Arthur let out an awkward chuckle, staring back at the Nymph.
“Aha… Hello.”

Arthur stumbles across a nymph (Merlin) in the forest one evening, during a hunting trip after wandering off, doing some strange ritual.
He watched in secret, until suddenly falling through the trees and into sight.
