It was all he could do to sit there at the vanity, eyes squeezed shut, and try to give in the constricting pressure around his chest that said that he was about to fall into a panic attack.

His own heartbeat rushed in his ears.Being mated to the reclusive king with a frightening reputation to his name, bundled away from his home and father, and then surrounded by underwhelmingly distant faces hiding secrets was not how Stiles Stilinski imagine spending his life soon after turning eighteen. He can only remind himself that it is for the good of his people, both old and newly acquired. But, perhaps first assumptions are made too hastily and a fated match can be made, even surrounded by threats of war, revenge and death’s waiting embrace.

Scott neared the old recliner slowly on edge, “Scott?” he heard a small whimper, “Scotty?” came a half sob.
The young alpha pulled the chair back, revealing a small figure hugging his knees to his chest. The boy had on pajamas, a pair Scott hadn’t seen in years but remembered very well. Who could forget batman themed gray and black pajamas with a glow in the dark bat signal on the chest. They were the coolest and when Scott spent the night Stiles let him wear them every time, like a true best friend.
“Is this a trick?” Allison was first to ask searching the faces of the three males, she was a human beta and didn’t have the wolf sensing abilities.
“It smells like him, like a pup in distress.” Scott kneeled down. “Hey there buddy don’t cry.”
“Where's Scotty? You’re not him, you smell like him.” The young pup sniffed calmed by his best friend’s familiar scent.
“Yeah, he’s my uh, he’s a cousin of mine. My names Miguel. Yeah Miguel."- Language:

But, after the war with the Argents, their country needed stability. And a political marriage suited that. Shame it had to be the prince of their neighbors to the south.
Stiles had no idea where his life would take him. But a marriage of convenience to the crown prince of one of their neighboring countries wasn't exactly on his mind. He had to admit, it would have it perks. Both for the royal family, and for his country. He just didn't know anything about werewolves. Especially ones who were cursed out the ass. Oh well, he'd figure things out as he went.

Stiles absolutely does not think of the Alpha power he somehow received when he was in France, the spark of red that slithered up his skin and settled in his bones. The Alpha spark that he keeps contained on his chest, right over his heart, held in place by nothing more than a celtic knot of mountain ash and his belief.
“If you don’t shut your trap and let me go fix the nemeton, no one’s going to be Alpha of Beacon Hills. We’ll figure out the rest later.”

Summary

Then he arrives and Prince James only ever glares at him, is thoroughly uninterested in spending any time with him unless forced, and admits to his brother that he doesn't want him when he thinks Tony can't understand him. Hope for a loving marriage is crushed, and Tony tries desperately to make the best of it while Prince James proves to be the most confusing human being he has ever met.

His face scrunches in confusion before realization dawns on him.
Oh shit.
Events from the night before peek through the hazy fog of his mind. Stiles thought, or he was hoping, that the phone call was a dream. But there it is, staring at him in the face—a one minute and 57-second call to an unfamiliar number.
Oh God.
Did he seriously call someone—possibly an alpha werewolf!—for phone sex?
...Or the one where Stiles drunk dials a very grumpy alpha werewolf and propositions him for phone sex. Hilarity, misunderstandings, and feelings ensue.

Summary

Derek has a Soulmate out there, and it definitely isn't Stiles.

“The first group I sent over made the Avengers uncomfortable by thanking them constantly and asking for autographs. The next group stole things to sell on ebay. The group after that didn’t even get through the front door because Stark’s security system found something in their background that we missed. The fourth group left traumatized after cleaning out Thor’s room, apparently the god had some beheaded poultry dripping blood into a bowl in there. Then after that every group I’ve left hasn’t lasted more than three days because of some problem or another. I’m pretty sure one of those assholes has made it a game to scare my workers away.”
“I don’t think you’re supposed to call the heroes of New York assholes.”
Or, cleaning up after the Avengers involves more than just getting blood stains out of the carpet and most of them can't take the heat. Thankfully the Savior of the Wizarding has spent the last decade cleaning up after Death Eaters, so she's up to the task. Nothing, not pranks, bird corpses, or unidentified slime will keep her from cleaning up.
