The first time Henry sees him—he’s sitting on a bench. The weather is unbearably beautiful, indulgent, welcoming, aiding the life and living in a way that was unimaginable just a few weeks ago.
And it’s all true in theory, Henry knows, and he sees it in practice—the grass is green, the sky is blue, the flowers are a vibrant myriad of different colours—he is seeing it, right now, and it’s all lovely and lively and golden. In theory.

Summary
Alex has always loved dancing. The unbridled freedom of losing himself in the music, swinging his body to the beats guiding his movement, limbs coordinating with the rhythm until it becomes an involuntary function and his body forgetting where he even is. It used to be fun.
There’s something freeing about this too, he supposes: the unrestrained freedom of dancing with noone watching–like doing some stupid contortionist move in a dark room–without appealing to put on a show. No wide-eyed gaze following his movements around, waiting to join him.
Alex likes to dance. Henry watches him.
